When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jerry Jonasson made a kick off. A collision led to DIF LEEDS BK getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Ulf Nordlander hit a great ball. When Edinson Haaland came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Chinese CJ Youth Academy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edinson Haaland couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edinson Haaland got free with Brazilio Butt in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Günther Doty succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-3 in the 96th playminute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Chinese CJ Youth Academy eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
