Steen Müür stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edinson Haaland's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. Chinese CJ Youth Academy's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Su Jian Jie in the 19th minute. If Edinson Haaland had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Edinson Haaland blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Steen Müür having to make a save. Steen Müür showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edinson Haaland, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edinson Haaland in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Steen Müür saved De hijgende Hertjes from getting behind. De hijgende Hertjes's Steen Müür played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edinson Haaland in the 45th minute of play. After the first half Chinese CJ Youth Academy were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edinson Haaland to strike the kick off in the second half. Han Kostermans kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. Edinson Haaland's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Steen Müür read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. Leendert Zuurman hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. In the 53rd minute, Edinson Haaland ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Steen Müür was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. If Edinson Haaland had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Steen Müür didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Günther Doty went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. A collision led to De hijgende Hertjes getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Geert Fokkelman hit a great ball. Steen Müür made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Günther Doty in the 84th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Günther Doty managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chinese CJ Youth Academy's supporters rose to their feet, but Günther Doty was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Steen Müür breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Günther Doty blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Steen Müür having to make a save. Steen Müür made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Günther Doty in the 87th minute of play. Chinese CJ Youth Academy's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
