Through an outstanding action, after 3 minutes, Ilie Brumaru successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 5th minute Quilaquina AFC were awarded a corner. Saul Favila went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Feliberto Pitin almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FC Cosula-BTF-'s Ilie Brumaru did a great save. In the 9thth minute of the game Leonel Semeno who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Cosula-BTF-'s Ilie Brumaru was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Quilaquina AFC were awarded a corner in the 11th minute after FC Cosula-BTF-'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Saul Favila took the corner. A collision led to Quilaquina AFC getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Maximo Aresti hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Marcel Dinescu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ilie Brumaru was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. In the 15th match minute, FC Cosula-BTF- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivan Remus to maneuver through the defense. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Cosula-BTF-'s goalkeeper Ilie Brumaru, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ilie Brumaru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcel Dinescu in the 20th minute of play. Ilie Brumaru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Feliberto Pitin, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Manuel Neicu kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Marcel Dinescu might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ilie Brumaru. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marcel Dinescu ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Feliberto Pitin in the 30th minute of play forced FC Cosula-BTF-'s goalkeeper Ilie Brumaru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Quilaquina AFC's Leonel Semeno got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. FC Cosula-BTF-'s Ilie Brumaru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonel Semeno in the 33rd minute of play. Marcel Dinescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcel Dinescu in the 34th minute of play forced FC Cosula-BTF-'s goalkeeper Ilie Brumaru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ilie Brumaru came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Quilaquina AFC's Leonel Semeno. But to his dismay, Leonel Semeno quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. With an all-out effort, Quilaquina AFC's Ilie Brumaru threw himself towards the right post 43 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Feliberto Pitin, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Ilie Brumaru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcel Dinescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Ilie Brumaru didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marcel Dinescu went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Olimpiu Teodorescu to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Abel Harri managed to get in a good position for a shot. Quilaquina AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Abel Harri was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ilie Brumaru breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marcel Dinescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ilie Brumaru having to interfere. Marcel Dinescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Ilie Brumaru tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gheorghe Chițan's late challenge caught a Quilaquina AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gheorghe Chițan helped the player get up and apologised. After 63 played minutes FC Cosula-BTF- got a freekick which was hit by Gheorghe Chițan. In the 65th minute Leonel Semeno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ilie Brumaru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcel Dinescu might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ilie Brumaru. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Marcel Dinescu managed to get in a good position for a shot.
