Xu Le Shu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sorin Bobocea having to make a save. 11 minutes into the match, Balavanis's goal looked a bit too open when Xu Le Shu came free, but Sorin Bobocea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 15 minutes had been played when some careless play by Balavanis's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Emirşah Öktemer was slow to take the kick. During this time SRP-Laguna's players had a chance to rest. In the 22nd minute, Xu Le Shu made a precise shot to the right of Sorin Bobocea. Balavanis's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Sorin Bobocea stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Xu Le Shu's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. In the 26th minute of the match SRP-Laguna got a corner. Balavanis's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Emirşah Öktemer ran over to the corner to take the kick. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Xu Le Shu made a kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alf Tanner during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Alf Tanner hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. In the 53rd minute Xu Le Shu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sorin Bobocea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sorin Bobocea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xu Le Shu in the 55th minute of the match. A throw-in in the 59th minute of the game was made by Codrin Donciu with Nae Groșan as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. 60 minutes into the game, SRP-Laguna's Xu Le Shu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sorin Bobocea made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. The supporters of SRP-Laguna booed when Balavanis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Federico Flamini didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ionică Cucu charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ionică Cucu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Balavanis's Ionică Cucu got a free kick in the 65th minute. SRP-Laguna's Anderson Laguna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nae Groșan in the 69th minute of play. Sorin Bobocea didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Xu Le Shu went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Anderson Laguna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alf Tanner in the 74th minute of play. 76 minutes into the match, Balavanis's goal looked a bit too open when Xu Le Shu came free, but Sorin Bobocea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 77th minute Ştefan Şimoc shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anderson Laguna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 78 played minutes SRP-Laguna got a freekick which was hit by Emirşah Öktemer. SRP-Laguna's Frasier Crane was substituted for Xu Le Shu. In the 80th minute, Emirşah Öktemer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Barbaros Seçkin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Sorin Bobocea made a huge save. Balavanis's Sorin Bobocea proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Balavanis from getting a goal against them. A collision led to SRP-Laguna getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Isaltino Veloso hit a great ball. In the 88th minute Isaltino Veloso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sorin Bobocea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gheorghe Basarab took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Anderson Laguna. Anderson Laguna dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. Barbaros Seçkin's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Sorin Bobocea firmly grabbed it by the left post.
