Rouven Nussli made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kong Lin Yu in the 4th minute. Helari Hunt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Waldemar Gierlach, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Champions Iasi's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Stefan Pieters in the 6th minute. A well-hit corner resulted in Rareș Raicu heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. After 11 played minutes Rymu got a freekick which was hit by Jiang Liang Ling. Fabian Zăreanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 18 played minutes Champions Iasi got a freekick which was hit by Isac Muntian. Helari Hunt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stefan Pieters in the 21st minute of play. Mark Hakk kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. If Waldemar Gierlach had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 32nd minute Isac Muntian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Helari Hunt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabian Zăreanu in the 40th minute of play forced Rymu's goalkeeper Helari Hunt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 40 played minutes Rymu got a freekick which was hit by Jiang Mo Wen. 46 minutes into the match, Champions Iasi's goal looked a bit too open when Jiang Mo Wen came free, but Rouven Nussli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Waldemar Gierlach made a kick off. Helari Hunt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Waldemar Gierlach in the 51st minute of the match. Stefan Pieters fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Helari Hunt having to interfere. 55 minutes into the match, Rymu's goalkeeper Helari Hunt had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Stefan Pieters. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stefan Pieters in the 57th minute of play forced Rymu's goalkeeper Helari Hunt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Helari Hunt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Waldemar Gierlach, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Champions Iasi's Isac Muntian got a free kick in the 64th minute. With a little luck, Rymu's Helari Hunt got control of the ball when Stefan Pieters tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jiang Liang Ling during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jiang Liang Ling kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. In the 77th minute, Jiang Liang Ling hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 83 played minutes Rymu got a freekick which was hit by Erdinç Talayman. Helari Hunt made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Fabian Zăreanu sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Waldemar Gierlach got free with Helari Hunt in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kong Lin Yu struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Rouven Nussli didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rymu. When Isac Muntian, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 90 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Helari Hunt was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Silver Särg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rymu's supporters rose to their feet, but Silver Särg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rouven Nussli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Helari Hunt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isac Muntian in the 93rd minute of play. Rymu's defense didn't have a chance, in the 96th minute, when Isac Muntian scored to the left of an out of position Helari Hunt, making the score, 0-1. When the final whistle sounded Champions Iasi left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Rymu.
