Sacronas Futbol Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Waldemar Gierlach was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 10th match minute, Champions Iasi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pontus Fagrell to maneuver through the defense. Denis Stanislao received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Rouven Nussli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 13 minutes into the game, Denis Stanislao cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Rouven Nussli was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 18th minute Denis Stanislao shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rouven Nussli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 28 minutes had been played when some careless play by Sacronas Futbol Club's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Basarab Alexandru was slow to take the kick. During this time Champions Iasi's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Basarab Alexandru got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jorge Iribarren quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Jorge Iribarren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isac Muntian, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Jorge Iribarren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fabian Zăreanu in the 35th minute. With 39 minutes on the clock, Óscar Mas commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Sacronas Futbol Club fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 38th minute. Penalty! Jorge Iribarren made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Waldemar Gierlach sent off a good shot on target. Jorge Iribarren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isac Muntian, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. 44 minutes into the match, Sacronas Futbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Isac Muntian came free, but Jorge Iribarren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Waldemar Gierlach to make the kick off. Jorge Iribarren stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Isac Muntian's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. Sacronas Futbol Club's Jorge Iribarren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabian Zăreanu in the 55th minute of play. After 58 minutes, Eusebiu Crăciunaș mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Champions Iasi and the Sacronas Futbol Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. Eusebiu Crăciunaș kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. In the 60th minute Isac Muntian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Iribarren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jorge Iribarren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabian Zăreanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabian Zăreanu in the 65th minute of play forced Sacronas Futbol Club's goalkeeper Jorge Iribarren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Roberto Perfumo kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Saul Lon hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Isac Muntian in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jorge Iribarren saved Sacronas Futbol Club from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 74 minutes, Isac Muntian put it in 4-1 from a short distance just to the right of Jorge Iribarren. Jorge Iribarren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Waldemar Gierlach in the 81st minute of play. Jorge Iribarren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Waldemar Gierlach in the 82nd minute of the match. Fabian Zăreanu took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jorge Iribarren. Jorge Iribarren dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. Champions Iasi were awarded a corner in the 87th minute after Sacronas Futbol Club's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Basarab Alexandru took the corner. 88 minutes into the match, Fabian Zăreanu notched a goal, 6-1, to the right of Sacronas Futbol Club's Jorge Iribarren. Jorge Iribarren was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Sacronas Futbol Club booed when Champions Iasi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eusebiu Crăciunaș didn't get a good kick on the ball. Champions Iasi walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
