With his leg Róbert Behúň managed to avoid a goal in the 29thth minute, when Arthur Morgan´s Club's Gaspar Santo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 36th minute, Jozef Šagáth ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Samuel Buinton was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Blas Soter hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Gaspar Santo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Róbert Behúň. That made the score 1-1 in the 39 minute of play. Clodoveo Feliz hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. In the 48th minute Clodoveo Feliz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Róbert Behúň saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gong Yang to strike the kick off in the second half.
