The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Adrianus Tambunan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriel Vinhas in the 5th minute of play. Adrianus Tambunan was out of position in the 7 minute of play, and Gabriel Vinhas capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gabriel Vinhas really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Adrianus Tambunan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriel Vinhas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hu Jie Rong in the 13th minute of play forced Relyn Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Gino Velasco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Efraim Morais in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gino Velasco saved Relyn Futebol Clube from getting behind. Gabriel Vinhas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Adrianus Tambunan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. Efraim Morais fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gino Velasco having to interfere. Dorotheos Macheritsas hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. After 36 played minutes Putra Rewulu got a freekick which was hit by Dorotheos Macheritsas. In the 38th minute Tiburcio Ledesma shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gino Velasco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Relyn Futebol Clube's Gino Velasco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hu Jie Rong in the 40th minute of play. In the 44th match minute, Putra Rewulu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Honorato Zambujal to maneuver through the defense. Hu Jie Rong fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gino Velasco having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hu Jie Rong to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Gabriel Vinhas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 56th minute Raimundo Faria shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrianus Tambunan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gino Velasco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tiburcio Ledesma in the 60th minute. Relyn Futebol Clube were furious when Michael Åkerström was red carded, 62 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Relyn Futebol Clube's Genaro Valdemoro was substituted for Qu Jun Fan. 61 minutes into the game, one of Relyn Futebol Clube:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Gino Velasco didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Danilo Ignado went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. 68 minutes into the match, Relyn Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Hu Jie Rong came free, but Gino Velasco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gino Velasco made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Tiburcio Ledesma sent off a good shot on target. Efraim Morais kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. In the 81st minute, Efraim Morais hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Adrianus Tambunan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raimundo Faria in the 83rd minute of play. Relyn Futebol Clube's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gabriel Vinhas in the 85th minute. Gino Velasco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiburcio Ledesma in the 87th minute of play. Dorotheos Macheritsas got a throw-in 91 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Tiburcio Ledesma. Dorotheos Macheritsas made in the 95th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Tiburcio Ledesma.
