He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Fervent Stalkers reached it. The Bezerros EC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Fervent Stalkers were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Claudinho do Vale made the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alex Arantes in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Augusto Gaskon saved Fervent Stalkers from getting behind. Bezerros EC's Luiz Fernando Peixoto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eleuterio Donostia in the 73rd minute of play. The supporters of Fervent Stalkers booed when Bezerros EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donato Ceresso didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 95 played minutes Bezerros EC got a freekick which was hit by Silvério Valladares. Fervent Stalkers's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
