Siro Crescencio hit a great ball. 20 minutes into the match, 李博潮 notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of JS 22's Robert Steffens. Robert Steffens was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 23rd minute Carlos Haimar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robert Steffens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Barnaba Kilarski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cláudio Motta was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. Everardo Palban's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 29thth minute, Cláudio Motta skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 39 played minutes Quilmes Atletico Club got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Haimar. After 49 minutes Quilmes Atletico Club's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Arnulfo Tancredo who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Arnulfo Tancredo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Quilmes Atletico Club's Cláudio Motta did a great save.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Barnaba Kilarski to make the kick off. Cayetano Gonsalve hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Carlos Haimar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 61st minute Fidel Bartolome shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robert Steffens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cláudio Motta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Barnaba Kilarski in the 62nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carlos Haimar got free with Robert Steffens in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Barnaba Kilarski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cláudio Motta read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. After a rather tough play, JS 22's Aquilino Baumar got a free kick in the 66th minute. After some careless play in the JS 22 defense, 李博潮 kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Robert Steffens. The JS 22 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Robert Steffens should have stopped the shot. In the 71st minute of the match, 李博潮 got a very nice opportunity to score, but Robert Steffens was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 80th minute Barnaba Kilarski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cláudio Motta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 86 minutes into the match, Quilmes Atletico Club's goal looked a bit too open when Everardo Palban came free, but Cláudio Motta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Robert Steffens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fidel Bartolome, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Robert Steffens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fidel Bartolome in the 89th minute of the match. In the 90th minute, Carlos Haimar made a precise shot to the right of Robert Steffens. JS 22's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-6. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Barnaba Kilarski in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cláudio Motta prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
