The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Göran Cane had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dorian de Lima. Renegados's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Göran Cane was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After some careless play in the Renegados defense, Edvin Lindholm kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dorian de Lima. The Renegados fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dorian de Lima should have stopped the shot. After having played for 17 minutes, Göran Cane managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Svartvallstjärnens IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Göran Cane was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 22nd minute, Rafael Fernandes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rafael Fernandes kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Dorian de Lima didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Göran Cane went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. In the 26th minute, Göran Cane left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Svartvallstjärnens IF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. 30 minutes into the game, Svartvallstjärnens IF's Göran Cane nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dorian de Lima made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. Svartvallstjärnens IF's Henrik Hägert got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Göran Cane blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dorian de Lima having to make a save. Göran Cane struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Dorian de Lima didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Svartvallstjärnens IF. In the 40thth minute of the game Göran Cane who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Renegados's Dorian de Lima was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Göran Cane in the 41st minute of play forced Renegados's goalkeeper Dorian de Lima to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-6 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Romário Seco made a kick off. A sloppy throw-in by Carlos Alberto Fernandez in the 54th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Svartvallstjärnens IF's Karl-Åke Vestlund. 54 minutes into the match, Göran Cane had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dorian de Lima. After a defensive mix-up in Renegados's zone, Thiago Castelao stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dorian de Lima came out of the goal and Thiago Castelao tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 70 minutes into the game, Svartvallstjärnens IF's Alvar Vibjörnsson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dorian de Lima made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-8. In the 75th minute, Tomas Kvalfält left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Svartvallstjärnens IF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-9. When the match had gone on for 83 minutes, Göran Cane took a quick shot and it went in 0-11 without a chance for Dorian de Lima to make any attempt to save it. If Göran Cane had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Göran Cane in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dorian de Lima saved Renegados from getting behind. A sloppy throw-in by Rafael Fernandes in the 93rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Svartvallstjärnens IF's Karl-Åke Vestlund. When the match clock showed 95 minutes, the score became 0-12 when Göran Cane sped through Renegados's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dorian de Lima.
