András Horváth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 余永川 in the 36th minute of the match. If Zalán Kovács had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 42nd minute, 余永川 got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. András Horváth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gwidon Cwojdak, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Arthur Bufi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zalán Kovács in the 51st minute of the match. In the 54th minute, Árpád Konkoly got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 58 minutes into the match, Szajk LC's goalkeeper András Horváth had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by 余永川. Szajk LC's András Horváth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gwidon Cwojdak in the 80th minute of play. Cruzeiro Esporte Clube were awarded a corner in the 81th minute after Szajk LC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luiz Guilherme Cearense took the corner.
