In the 33rd minute of the match West Town SC got a corner. Racing Club【LBF】's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Douglas Costa ran over to the corner to take the kick. At last the ball reached Bean Blue at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Racing Club【LBF】. 0-1. Cláudio Taffarel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angel Mena in the 37th minute of the match. West Town SC's Billy Jacquemet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severino Jatsu in the 45th minute of play. If Manuel Marchidan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half West Town SC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Manuel Marchidan to make the kick off. Alejo Galoer charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alejo Galoer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of West Town SC booed when Racing Club【LBF】 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alejo Galoer didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Micael Caicedo in the 53rd minute of play forced Racing Club【LBF】's goalkeeper Cláudio Taffarel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Angel Mena did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-2 to the left of a surprised Cláudio Taffarel 55 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angel Mena in the 62nd minute of play forced Racing Club【LBF】's goalkeeper Cláudio Taffarel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 65 minutes into the match, Racing Club【LBF】's goal looked a bit too open when Micael Caicedo came free, but Cláudio Taffarel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 65 played minutes West Town SC got a freekick which was hit by Douglas Costa. Cláudio Taffarel made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Angel Mena sent off a good shot on target. 72 minutes into the match, Racing Club【LBF】's goalkeeper Cláudio Taffarel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Micael Caicedo. Angel Mena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 74th minute of the match, Angel Mena got a very nice opportunity to score, but Cláudio Taffarel was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Cláudio Taffarel acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 94th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Douglas Costa. Alejo Galoer hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Although Racing Club【LBF】 had been in control for most of the match, West Town SC still came away with the win.
