In the 7th minute, Igor Tartalo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Franja Dorada fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Holy Cross Mountains's goalkeeper Guy Davis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 10th minute, Igor Tartalo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Guy Davis was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After some careless play in the Holy Cross Mountains defense, Silverio Jacob kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Guy Davis. Holy Cross Mountains's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Franja Dorada the free kick. After 22 played minutes Holy Cross Mountains got a freekick which was hit by Roque Terron. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Peter Steadman during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Holy Cross Mountains getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Peter Steadman hit a great ball. Holy Cross Mountains's Guy Davis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Igor Tartalo in the 27th minute of play. After 28 minutes Holy Cross Mountains's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Igor Tartalo who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Mevlüt Vurgun got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Guy Davis quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 29 minutes into the game, Igor Tartalo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Guy Davis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Silverio Jacob in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Guy Davis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Guy Davis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silverio Jacob in the 34th minute of play. Guy Davis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silverio Jacob, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Igor Tartalo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-6 lead.

In the 54th minute Silverio Jacob shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guy Davis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Guy Davis was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Silverio Jacob showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-7 in the 55 minute of play. In the 83rd minute Horea Decuseară shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valentin Licerio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Peter Steadman hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silverio Jacob in the 85th minute of play forced Holy Cross Mountains's goalkeeper Guy Davis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
