Guy Davis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silverio Jacob in the 12th minute of play. Igor Tartalo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Guy Davis made a huge save. Holy Cross Mountains's Guy Davis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Holy Cross Mountains from getting a goal against them. Guy Davis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Igor Tartalo, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Igor Tartalo in the 24th minute of play forced Holy Cross Mountains's goalkeeper Guy Davis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emanuel Stroescu ran over to the corner to take the kick. 31 minutes into the match, Holy Cross Mountains's goal looked a bit too open when Silverio Jacob came free, but Guy Davis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 32 played minutes Holy Cross Mountains got a freekick which was hit by Horea Decuseară. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Silverio Jacob in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Guy Davis saved Holy Cross Mountains from getting behind. With a little luck, Holy Cross Mountains's Guy Davis got control of the ball when Igor Tartalo tried to sneak it across the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

In the 53rd minute Silverio Jacob shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guy Davis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 54th minute, Silverio Jacob ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Guy Davis was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 57th minute, Igor Tartalo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Franja Dorada fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. If Pedro Timo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Guy Davis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Igor Tartalo, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. 75 minutes into the game, Franja Dorada's Igor Tartalo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Guy Davis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Franja Dorada made a substitution. Florentino Rito replaced Igor Tartalo. In the 81st minute, Bülent Ruge got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match had gone on for 83 minutes, Silverio Jacob put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Guy Davis. After 85 played minutes Franja Dorada got a freekick which was hit by Angel Bessone. In the 90th minute Angel Bessone shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guy Davis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Franja Dorada's Florentino Rito got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Guy Davis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Florentino Rito's shot from short distance in the 96th minute.
