Uruguaiana got a freekick which was hit by Shao Ming Jian. Silverio Liberto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 15th minute Bernardinho Pimenta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vicente Guimarães saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 17 played minutes La Tribuna Tambien Juega got a freekick which was hit by Vendel Földesi. 18 minutes into the match, La Tribuna Tambien Juega's goal looked a bit too open when Maicon Palmeira came free, but Long Sen Jing reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vicente Guimarães came out of the goal and Cesar Flor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vicente Guimarães showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernan Tulio, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Vicente Guimarães took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernan Tulio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Silverio Liberto to make the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Maicon Palmeira in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Long Sen Jing saved La Tribuna Tambien Juega from getting behind. Long Sen Jing showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maicon Palmeira, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute.
