Maurinho Terra was out of position in the 11 minute of play, and Pentti Ojala capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Pentti Ojala really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Josef Witlatschil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilberto Goizeder, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A well-hit corner resulted in Narciso Peli heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. 17 minutes into the match, Alejandra's goal looked a bit too open when Christo Bothenhain came free, but Maurinho Terra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Iwo Sawicki kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Maurinho Terra. That made the score 3-0 in the 21 minute of play. Josef Witlatschil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilberto Goizeder in the 24th minute of the match. In the 27th minute, Narciso Erruki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Narciso Erruki kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Pentti Ojala in the 30thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Maurinho Terra, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Alejandra's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Alejandra's Maurinho Terra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iwo Sawicki in the 42nd minute of play. In the 45th match minute, Tiger was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iwo Sawicki to maneuver through the defense. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Gilberto Goizeder fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Josef Witlatschil having to interfere. In the 55thth minute of the game Gilberto Goizeder who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tiger's Josef Witlatschil was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Josef Witlatschil made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Angel Cidro sent off a good shot on target. In the 67th minute Pentti Ojala shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maurinho Terra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Angel Cidro's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 73rdth minute, Josef Witlatschil skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Angel Cidro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tiger's Marten Weise was substituted for Iwo Sawicki. Tiger's Ingo Ustorf was substituted for Rudolf Speed. The audience thought a goal was coming when Angel Cidro got free with Josef Witlatschil in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
