In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tiger's goalkeeper Josef Witlatschil, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 46 played minutes MK Investments got a freekick which was hit by Domenik Hoffhuis. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iwo Sawicki in the 47th minute of play forced MK Investments's goalkeeper Peter Oldenborger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Waclaw Poremba to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pentti Ojala got free with Peter Oldenborger in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tiger's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Christo Bothenhain in the 56th minute. Tiger's Christo Bothenhain was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Peter Oldenborger in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Peter Oldenborger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Louis Leißner in the 84th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marten Weise in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Peter Oldenborger prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
