José Maria Goiano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fredric Hybbert, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. José Maria Goiano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iwan Kasiewski in the 26th minute of the match. But to his dismay, Lars Bammerman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Fredric Hybbert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. José Maria Goiano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

52 minutes into the game, Yin Yun Fan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Kurdistan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Poetass FC the free kick. After 52 played minutes FC Kurdistan got a freekick which was hit by Yin Yun Fan. José Maria Goiano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Kurdistan. If Zeng Xu Yuan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched FC Kurdistan eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
