In the 4th match minute, Merceron United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alberto Lusi to maneuver through the defense. With his leg José Maria Goiano managed to avoid a goal in the 8thth minute, when Merceron United's Dinei Fernandez fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 10 minutes into the match, Merceron United's goal looked a bit too open when Zeng Xu Yuan came free, but Daniele Bucciarelli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With his leg José Maria Goiano managed to avoid a goal in the 16thth minute, when Merceron United's Dinei Fernandez fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 17 minutes into the match, Merceron United's goal looked a bit too open when Kalle Billberg came free, but Daniele Bucciarelli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Dinei Fernandez could shoot a difficult shot in the 19th minute, which José Maria Goiano however easily saved by the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dinei Fernandez got free with José Maria Goiano in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 22 minutes into the match, Poetass FC's goal looked a bit too open when Edoardo Pascucci came free, but José Maria Goiano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 29thth minute of the game Jon-Egil Schjelderup who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Merceron United's Daniele Bucciarelli was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Daniele Bucciarelli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jon-Egil Schjelderup, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. 33 minutes into the game, Poetass FC's Witold Bronicki nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Daniele Bucciarelli made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. A hard shot 38 in the game by Dinei Fernandez from a close distance when the talented José Maria Goiano managed to make a qualified save. Poetass FC's players were relieved. With an all-out effort, Merceron United's José Maria Goiano threw himself towards the right post 39 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Edoardo Pascucci, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kalle Billberg in the 45th minute of play forced Merceron United's goalkeeper Daniele Bucciarelli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dinei Fernandez to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Poetass FC's Mon Ibaute got a free kick in the 51st minute. José Maria Goiano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Milosz Waselenczuk in the 52nd minute of play. After 59 minutes Merceron United's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jon-Egil Schjelderup who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Jon-Egil Schjelderup got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Daniele Bucciarelli quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After a rather tough play, Merceron United's Dinei Fernandez got a free kick in the 59th minute. After 61 minutes of play, Poetass FC's Kalle Billberg made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Daniele Bucciarelli was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Merceron United getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Biagio Donadoni hit a great ball. Poetass FC made a substitution. Cleiton Carioca replaced Witold Bronicki. Poetass FC made a substitution. Witalis Brysz replaced Kalle Billberg. With a little luck, Merceron United's Daniele Bucciarelli got control of the ball when Cleiton Carioca tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 69th minute Jon-Egil Schjelderup shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniele Bucciarelli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dinei Fernandez in the 77th minute of play forced Poetass FC's goalkeeper José Maria Goiano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 79 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Poetass FC's Witalis Brysz fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Daniele Bucciarelli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Witalis Brysz, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Daniele Bucciarelli came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Poetass FC's Zeng Xu Yuan. But to his dismay, Zeng Xu Yuan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Poetass FC played a much better game than Merceron United and deserved their victory. The Merceron United players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
