After a defensive mix-up in Bebela's zone, René Houseman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vinícius Novaes came out of the goal and René Houseman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiburcio Chago in the 5th minute of play forced Botafogo AP's goalkeeper Alan do Vale to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alan do Vale stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tiburcio Chago's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. Vinícius Novaes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ademir de Almeida in the 10th minute of play. Alan do Vale made an important save on a dangerous shot by He Xiang Fan in the 11th minute. Sandro Branco's late challenge caught a Bebela's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sandro Branco helped the player get up and apologised. In the 16th minute, one of Botafogo AP:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Botafogo AP. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, He Xiang Fan put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Alan do Vale. 35 minutes had been played when some careless play by Bebela's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ademir de Almeida was slow to take the kick. During this time Botafogo AP's players had a chance to rest. Tiburcio Chago could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Alan do Vale made a huge save. In the 41st minute, Maicon Perez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Geert Arend Roodenburg came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Bebela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Geert Arend Roodenburg couldn't finish the play. 44 minutes into the match, Botafogo AP's goal looked a bit too open when Tiburcio Chago came free, but Alan do Vale reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Serafino Marz took the ball and in the 48 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alan do Vale. Alan do Vale dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tiburcio Chago made a kick off. Vinícius Novaes made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when René Houseman sent off a good shot on target. René Houseman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 59 played minutes Botafogo AP got a freekick which was hit by Wesley Barral. Botafogo AP's Alan do Vale played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by He Xiang Fan in the 60th minute of play. In the 62nd minute Tiburcio Chago shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alan do Vale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 65 minutes of play, Bebela's Tiburcio Chago made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alan do Vale was left in no man's land by his defense there! Alan do Vale showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tiburcio Chago in the 71st minute of the match. Bebela's Richárd Rodrigues Da Silva was substituted for Tiburcio Chago. In the 74th minute Bebela were awarded a corner. Geert Arend Roodenburg went to the cornerflag to take it. Geert Arend Roodenburg kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Botafogo AP made a substitution. Jânio Abreu replaced Gugu Neves. A collision led to Bebela getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Geert Arend Roodenburg hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Richárd Rodrigues Da Silva's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alan do Vale was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. Alan do Vale took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Richárd Rodrigues Da Silva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
