After a rather tough play, Algoso Warriors's Homero Simões got a free kick in the 8th minute. After 9 minutes of play, Gurdurão's Faustão Proença made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jorge Tinoco was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience was convinced that Faustão Proença's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jorge Tinoco was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. After 15 played minutes Algoso Warriors got a freekick which was hit by David Pedroso. In the 16th minute Faustão Proença shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Tinoco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Faustão Proença came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Gurdurão fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Faustão Proença couldn't finish the play. When Elton Titos came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Gurdurão fans jumped to their feet. Jorge Tinoco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fausto Orlondon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Manuel Lage made in the 23rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Gurdurão's Dagoberto Nunes. When the match clock showed 26 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Faustão Proença sped through Algoso Warriors's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jorge Tinoco. Jorge Tinoco came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Gurdurão's Faustão Proença. But to his dismay, Faustão Proença quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Algoso Warriors's Jorge Tinoco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Faustão Proença in the 32nd minute of play. Jorge Tinoco came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Gurdurão's Faustão Proença. But to his dismay, Faustão Proença quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Faustão Proença in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jorge Tinoco saved Algoso Warriors from getting behind. 48 minutes into the match, Algoso Warriors's goal looked a bit too open when Faustão Proença came free, but Jorge Tinoco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Gurdurão's Tião Moura was substituted for Fausto Orlondon. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Algoso Warriors's goalkeeper Jorge Tinoco, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jorge Tinoco made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Faustão Proença sent off a good shot on target. Jorge Tinoco didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Elton Titos went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. A hard shot 63 in the game by Faustão Proença from a close distance when the talented Jorge Tinoco managed to make a qualified save. Algoso Warriors's players were relieved. When Homero Simões fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Algoso Warriors's protests and gave Homero Simões a yellow card for diving instead. 65 minutes into the match, Gurdurão's Faustão Proença sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jorge Tinoco narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The corner ended in Frederico de Amaral almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Algoso Warriors's Jorge Tinoco did a great save. Elton Titos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Jorge Tinoco made a huge save. After 78 minutes, Faustão Proença made it 0-7 with a short kick to the right side. Algoso Warriors's Jorge Tinoco tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 83 minutes into the match, Faustão Proença dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jorge Tinoco, 0-8. Gurdurão's Silvinho Mesquita was substituted for Faustão Proença. Jorge Tinoco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvinho Mesquita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pedrão Mala was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 90th minute. Gurdurão's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The Gurdurão fans' excitement grew in the 93rd match minute when Gurdurão's Silvinho Mesquita looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-10 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Algoso Warriors's Jorge Tinoco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 97th minute of the match, managed to save Algoso Warriors from getting a goal against them. If Silvinho Mesquita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gurdurão played a much better game than Algoso Warriors and deserved their victory. The Algoso Warriors players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
