The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Santiago Transito reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Evaristo Urtungo. The goal made the score 1-0. 6 minutes into the match, Club Atlético La Vía's goal looked a bit too open when Godofredo Bizen came free, but Cirilo Bernard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Andor Szűcs in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cirilo Bernard saved Club Atlético La Vía from getting behind. Prudencio Arnalt charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Prudencio Arnalt the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Shadow AFC's Prudencio Arnalt got a free kick in the 8th minute. In the 9th minute of the match, Lennart Käcker got a very nice opportunity to score, but Evaristo Urtungo was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After a rather tough play, Shadow AFC's Jacobo Papo got a free kick in the 9th minute. 10 minutes into the game, Claudio Echeverri recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Evaristo Urtungo. Claudio Echeverri showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Cirilo Bernard showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andor Szűcs in the 13th minute of the match. Evaristo Urtungo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Michel Hedkvist showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 16 minute of play. After some careless play in the Shadow AFC defense, Michel Hedkvist kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Evaristo Urtungo. The Shadow AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Evaristo Urtungo should have stopped the shot. Godofredo Bizen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 26 minutes into the match, Lennart Käcker had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Evaristo Urtungo. Shadow AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lennart Käcker was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Shadow AFC's Evaristo Urtungo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudio Echeverri in the 29th minute of play. Claudio Echeverri took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Evaristo Urtungo. Evaristo Urtungo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. Joaquin Havier struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Cirilo Bernard didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Shadow AFC. Club Atlético La Vía's Cirilo Bernard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andor Szűcs in the 37th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kang Kun Ming got free with Evaristo Urtungo in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Shadow AFC booed when Club Atlético La Vía was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claudio Echeverri didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Claudio Echeverri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Evaristo Urtungo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudio Echeverri, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Michel Hedkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Kang Kun Ming had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 6-0 at half-time.
The wind increased when Andor Szűcs made the kick off in the second half. Lennart Käcker took the ball and in the 51 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Evaristo Urtungo. Evaristo Urtungo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. Godofredo Bizen's late challenge caught a Club Atlético La Vía's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Godofredo Bizen helped the player get up and apologised. After 53 played minutes Shadow AFC got a freekick which was hit by Godofredo Bizen. After 54 minutes of play, Club Atlético La Vía's Claudio Echeverri made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Evaristo Urtungo was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Lennart Käcker in the 59th minute of play forced Shadow AFC's goalkeeper Evaristo Urtungo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 65 minutes into the match, Club Atlético La Vía's goal looked a bit too open when Andor Szűcs came free, but Cirilo Bernard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 66th minute, Claudio Echeverri ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Evaristo Urtungo was frozen by the shot and now it was 10-0. 71 minutes into the game, Santiago Transito cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 11-0. Evaristo Urtungo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 76th minute, Rafael Eron hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 77th minute, Claudio Echeverri made a precise shot to the right of Evaristo Urtungo. Shadow AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 12-0. Cirilo Bernard took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joaquin Havier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 85th minute Santiago Transito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evaristo Urtungo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 86th minute, Lennart Käcker left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Atlético La Vía fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 13-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Club Atlético La Vía had played much better football throughout.
