In the 4th minute Çanakkale were awarded a corner. Ali Haydar Uçkun went to the cornerflag to take it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Koray Tibet in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aybar Tokuztuğ saved Çinçin City from getting behind. Gencay Sayhan hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Koray Tibet in the 10th minute of play forced Çinçin City's goalkeeper Aybar Tokuztuğ to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aybar Tokuztuğ showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from İsmail Cem Eroğlu, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Çinçin City's zone, Koray Tibet stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aybar Tokuztuğ came out of the goal and Koray Tibet tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 21 played minutes Çinçin City got a freekick which was hit by Güner Şahinalp. Ferdi Kargin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eduardo Estrada, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eduardo Estrada in the 30th minute of play forced Çanakkale's goalkeeper Ferdi Kargin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 31st minute İsmail Cem Eroğlu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aybar Tokuztuğ saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ferhat Afşaroğlu hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Ferdi Kargin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marian Achifoaiei went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. A collision led to Çanakkale getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Mansur Başel hit a great ball. After having played for 47 minutes, İsmail Cem Eroğlu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Çanakkale's supporters crossed their fingers, but İsmail Cem Eroğlu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marian Achifoaiei to make the kick off. When Doğaner Geylan fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Çanakkale's protests and gave Doğaner Geylan a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Çanakkale's Doğaner Geylan got a free kick in the 58th minute. 61 minutes into the match, Çanakkale's goal looked a bit too open when Marian Achifoaiei came free, but Ferdi Kargin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Koray Tibet in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aybar Tokuztuğ prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Çanakkale's Koray Tibet in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Çinçin City's goalie prevented a goal. In the 77th minute of the match, Marian Achifoaiei tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ferdi Kargin saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 81st minute, İsmail Cem Eroğlu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 83rd minute, Mustafa Namık Canfer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aybar Tokuztuğ showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Koray Tibet in the 87th minute of the match. In the 91st minute, Mansur Başel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aybar Tokuztuğ was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Çanakkale succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Çinçin City had controlled the match.
