Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fausto Pinti in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arkadiusz Barciniak prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 11th minute Koti Kot shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damiano Battisti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arkadiusz Barciniak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Grant Irø in the 14th minute of the match. 22 minutes into the match, Koti Kot had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Damiano Battisti. Eurospeed Asti's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Koti Kot was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Amedeo Moriggi hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Damiano Battisti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Konrad Resel in the 30th minute of play. Eurospeed Asti's Damiano Battisti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Konrad Resel in the 31st minute of play. 32 minutes into the match, Eurospeed Asti's goal looked a bit too open when Konrad Resel came free, but Damiano Battisti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 33 minutes into the game, Almir Lago recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Damiano Battisti. Almir Lago showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jerzy Mielak got free with Damiano Battisti in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Arkadiusz Barciniak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fausto Pinti in the 45th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fausto Pinti to make the kick off. Thunderstorm Riders made a substitution. Daniel Houseman replaced Kudret Tüzer. With a little luck, Thunderstorm Riders's Arkadiusz Barciniak got control of the ball when Fausto Pinti tried to sneak it across the goal line. Eurospeed Asti's Damiano Battisti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Almir Lago in the 70th minute of play. The supporters of Eurospeed Asti booed when Thunderstorm Riders was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dawid Kazimierz didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Eurospeed Asti getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Francesco Cirelli hit a great ball. In the 95th minute, Antonello Tofani hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Damiano Battisti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Konrad Resel in the 96th minute of play. There was no doubt that Thunderstorm Riders were the better team. Thunderstorm Riders's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
