Spectators: 190 (Terracing: 143, Seating: 44, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Federico Girotti started the match with the kick off. 8 minutes into the game, Haroldo Phelipe was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Metal Juniors's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Unterrudling the free kick. After a rather tough play, Metal Juniors's Haroldo Phelipe got a free kick in the 9th minute. FC Unterrudling's Karl Jemella played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martín Palermo in the 11th minute of play. A throw-in in the 13th minute of the game was made by Roque Venceslas with Mike Grabner as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. After 17 minutes, Felix Mosen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Unterrudling and the Metal Juniors players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 18 minutes of play, Metal Juniors's Martín Palermo made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Karl Jemella was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in FC Unterrudling's zone, Martín Palermo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Karl Jemella came out of the goal and Martín Palermo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 26 played minutes FC Unterrudling got a freekick which was hit by Jan-Hauke Klare. Felix Mosen hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. In the 34th match minute, FC Unterrudling was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ángel De Silva to maneuver through the defense. In the 37th match minute, Metal Juniors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nemesio Isusko to maneuver through the defense. In the 39th minute, Federico Girotti ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Francisco Nesor was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Metal Juniors's attentive Reinaldo Castro managed to snatch the ball when Paul Vertefeuille made a throw-in in the 42nd minute of the game. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Martín Palermo made a kick off. Francisco Nesor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Federico Girotti in the 54th minute of play. A collision led to FC Unterrudling getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Mike Grabner hit a great ball. Francisco Nesor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Federico Girotti, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. 59 minutes had been played when some careless play by Metal Juniors's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Lütfullah Taycan was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Unterrudling's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Lütfullah Taycan almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Metal Juniors's Francisco Nesor did a great save. Metal Juniors's Sergio Dennis was substituted for Martín Palermo. Lütfullah Taycan hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Karl Jemella made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Leopoldo Itzaina sent off a good shot on target. Mike Grabner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 70 played minutes FC Unterrudling got a freekick which was hit by Roque Venceslas. After 71 minutes of play, Metal Juniors's Sergio Dennis made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Karl Jemella was left in no man's land by his defense there! Melker Flink hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. A sloppy throw-in by Roque Venceslas in the 81st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Metal Juniors's Antonio Eyague. After 83 minutes, Lütfullah Taycan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Unterrudling and the Metal Juniors players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 83rd match minute, FC Unterrudling was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lütfullah Taycan to maneuver through the defense. FC Unterrudling's Karl Jemella played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reinaldo Castro in the 84th minute of play. In the 91st minute Xande Xande shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisco Nesor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After taking down the ball on FC Unterrudling's corner Lütfullah Taycan fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Francisco Nesor quite easily take care of the ball. The Metal Juniors supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Metal Juniors would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
