In the 10th minute Saiko FC were awarded a corner. Walmir Garcia went to the cornerflag to take it. Saiko FC's Eliseu Fonseca was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Santiago Peruxu in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Santiago Peruxu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fábio Torres, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. CA INCAS's Santiago Peruxu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Walmir Garcia in the 14th minute of play. After 19 minutes Saiko FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Rigoberto Inguma who took care of the corner kick. Santiago Peruxu came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Saiko FC's Eliseu Fonseca. But to his dismay, Eliseu Fonseca quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 25 minutes into the match, CA INCAS's goal looked a bit too open when Walmir Garcia came free, but Santiago Peruxu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Santiago Peruxu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fábio Torres in the 26th minute of the match. In the 27th minute of the match Saiko FC got a corner. CA INCAS's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Walmir Garcia ran over to the corner to take the kick. Ubaldo Eguntsenti came free with the goalkeeper in the 36th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Zé Sabóia could save by the left post. 37 minutes into the match, CA INCAS's goal looked a bit too open when Fábio Torres came free, but Santiago Peruxu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Santiago Peruxu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 姚旭杰 in the 41st minute of play. Eliseu Fonseca's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Santiago Peruxu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. 44 minutes into the match, CA INCAS's goal looked a bit too open when Fábio Torres came free, but Santiago Peruxu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Santiago Peruxu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of 姚旭杰's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. Santiago Peruxu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 姚旭杰, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Armando Olayo made a kick off. In the 79th match minute, CA INCAS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Siro Eguerdi to maneuver through the defense. Santiago Peruxu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 姚旭杰 in the 80th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Décio Dionísio got free with Santiago Peruxu in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Siro Eguerdi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florentino Dunixi in the 84th minute of play forced Saiko FC's goalkeeper Zé Sabóia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 86th minute, Eliseu Fonseca left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Saiko FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. The Saiko FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Saiko FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
