Nahitantino's supporters crossed their fingers, but Angelino Che was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bähräm Abduläzimov hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. 41 minutes into the game, Heintje Passos recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Vítor Damas. Heintje Passos showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Through an outstanding action, after 44 minutes, Vítor Damas successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After a rather tough play, Esquadrão Lusitano's Zbyszko Skorny got a free kick in the 63rd minute. 70 minutes into the match, Nahitantino's goal looked a bit too open when 狄夕远 came free, but Everardo Javiero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If 狄夕远 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nahitantino's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
