Paulo Laurentzi struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Vagnar Tholsted didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Criciúma Esporte Clube. Dynamo Brabrand's Vagnar Tholsted played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bieito Villaurreta in the 5th minute of play. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Dynamo Brabrand's goalkeeper Vagnar Tholsted, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Vagnar Tholsted came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Criciúma Esporte Clube's Paulo Laurentzi. But to his dismay, Paulo Laurentzi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Paulo Laurentzi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Vagnar Tholsted tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Dynamo Brabrand's Teddy Talihn got a free kick in the 21st minute. 22 minutes into the match, Paulo Laurentzi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vagnar Tholsted. Dynamo Brabrand's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Paulo Laurentzi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Vagnar Tholsted took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bieito Villaurreta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 28 minutes into the match, Criciúma Esporte Clube's Paulo Laurentzi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vagnar Tholsted narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bieito Villaurreta in the 31st minute of play forced Dynamo Brabrand's goalkeeper Vagnar Tholsted to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dynamo Brabrand's Vagnar Tholsted played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bieito Villaurreta in the 32nd minute of play. In the 35th minute, Paulo Laurentzi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vagnar Tholsted was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Vagnar Tholsted took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulo Laurentzi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 41 minutes, Paulo Laurentzi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Criciúma Esporte Clube's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paulo Laurentzi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Paulo Laurentzi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vagnar Tholsted was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. Vagnar Tholsted showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bieito Villaurreta in the 45th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Dynamo Brabrand's zone, Bieito Villaurreta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vagnar Tholsted came out of the goal and Bieito Villaurreta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Henrik Hegnsbøl made a kick off. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Dynamo Brabrand's goalkeeper Vagnar Tholsted, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 56 minutes into the match, Dynamo Brabrand's goalkeeper Vagnar Tholsted had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bieito Villaurreta. In the 59th minute, Sigfred Grenzer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Paulo Laurentzi struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Paulo Laurentzi scored 0-4 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vagnar Tholsted, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Criciúma Esporte Clube made a substitution. Eriz Marques replaced Bieito Villaurreta. In the 72nd minute, Bartolomeo Simpson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 78 minutes into the match, Paulo Laurentzi notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Dynamo Brabrand's Vagnar Tholsted. Vagnar Tholsted was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Vagnar Tholsted made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Eriz Marques sent off a good shot on target. After 82 minutes of play, Criciúma Esporte Clube's Paulo Laurentzi made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vagnar Tholsted was left in no man's land by his defense there! Vagnar Tholsted made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Eriz Marques sent off a good shot on target. Evelio Antoniano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teddy Talihn in the 87th minute of play. If Paulo Laurentzi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vagnar Tholsted showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo Laurentzi in the 91st minute of the match. Vagnar Tholsted showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo Laurentzi, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Eriz Marques fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vagnar Tholsted having to interfere. With his leg Vagnar Tholsted managed to avoid a goal in the 95thth minute, when Criciúma Esporte Clube's Eriz Marques fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When the final whistle sounded Criciúma Esporte Clube left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Dynamo Brabrand.
