Ola Rydberg started the match with the kick off. In the 2nd minute, Erubiel Gaitan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 6 minutes into the match, Bahía é Carnaval's goal looked a bit too open when Ola Rydberg came free, but Mickael Wuyts reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 7th minute Arye Suryoye were awarded a corner. Norberto Loureiro went to the cornerflag to take it. Norberto Loureiro made a great header on Arye Suryoye's corner, it was just that Bahía é Carnaval's Mickael Wuyts managed to reach the ball for a save. Kenneth Käcker made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Vinicio Florin sent off a good shot on target. Kenneth Käcker took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Desiderio Demario, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 21 minutes into the game, Domenico Galdi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bahía é Carnaval's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Arye Suryoye the free kick. Domenico Galdi kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ola Rydberg in the 22nd minute of play forced Bahía é Carnaval's goalkeeper Mickael Wuyts to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arye Suryoye's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Norberto Loureiro in the 23rd minute. Domenico Galdi tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Mickael Wuyts. An unnecessary self made goal, 0-1 in the 23rd minute. If Ola Rydberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mickael Wuyts made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ola Rydberg in the 27th minute of play. Erubiel Gaitan charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Erubiel Gaitan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 28 played minutes Bahía é Carnaval got a freekick which was hit by Erubiel Gaitan. An unexpectedly hard shot by Desiderio Demario in the 30th minute of play forced Arye Suryoye's goalkeeper Kenneth Käcker to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aras Adıyaman charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aras Adıyaman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 36th minute, Bahía é Carnaval's Jacinto Rosio dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. 38 minutes into the match, Arye Suryoye's Ola Rydberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mickael Wuyts narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Erubiel Gaitan hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. If Norberto Loureiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jacinto Rosio was the one to do the kick off. Mickael Wuyts made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ola Rydberg in the 51st minute. Ola Rydberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mickael Wuyts. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ola Rydberg ran back to his position shaking his head. Mickael Wuyts made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Ola Rydberg sent off a good shot on target. Björn Lindmark kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ola Rydberg got free with Mickael Wuyts in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 65 minutes into the match, Bahía é Carnaval's goalkeeper Mickael Wuyts had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ola Rydberg. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erubiel Gaitan in the 66th minute of play forced Arye Suryoye's goalkeeper Kenneth Käcker to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Bahía é Carnaval's Mickael Wuyts got control of the ball when Ola Rydberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mickael Wuyts stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ola Rydberg's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. Ola Rydberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Mickael Wuyts made a huge save. Bahía é Carnaval's Mickael Wuyts proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Bahía é Carnaval from getting a goal against them. Bahía é Carnaval made a substitution. Ciro Playo replaced Vinicio Florin. Arye Suryoye's Valdemar Beckeman was substituted for Ola Rydberg. Bahía é Carnaval made a substitution. Luis Iban replaced Prospero Jakes. 83 minutes into the match, Bahía é Carnaval's goalkeeper Mickael Wuyts had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Valdemar Beckeman. Norberto Loureiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arye Suryoye's Norberto Loureiro was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Mickael Wuyts in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Mickael Wuyts was a little too slow when Valdemar Beckeman got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 91st minute. The score was now 1-4. Domenico Galdi kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Valdemar Beckeman got free with Mickael Wuyts in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 95th minute, Valdemar Beckeman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
