With his leg Mickael Wuyts managed to avoid a goal in the 6thth minute, when Arye Suryoye's Ola Rydberg fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Kenneth Käcker showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciro Playo, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Ola Rydberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ola Rydberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Mickael Wuyts made a huge save. Bahía é Carnaval's Mickael Wuyts proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Bahía é Carnaval from getting a goal against them. Ola Rydberg scored 1-0 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mickael Wuyts, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ola Rydberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Mickael Wuyts came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Arye Suryoye's Ola Rydberg. But to his dismay, Ola Rydberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ciro Playo to make the kick off. Ola Rydberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Mickael Wuyts tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mickael Wuyts took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ola Rydberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ola Rydberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mickael Wuyts having to make a save. 61 minutes into the match, Bahía é Carnaval's goal looked a bit too open when Ola Rydberg came free, but Mickael Wuyts reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 62 minutes into the match, Bahía é Carnaval's goal looked a bit too open when Ola Rydberg came free, but Mickael Wuyts reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Norberto Loureiro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mickael Wuyts read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ola Rydberg in the 75th minute of play forced Bahía é Carnaval's goalkeeper Mickael Wuyts to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ola Rydberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Mickael Wuyts showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ola Rydberg in the 76th minute of the match. 81 minutes into the match, Arye Suryoye's goal looked a bit too open when Erubiel Gaitan came free, but Kenneth Käcker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bahía é Carnaval's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Norberto Loureiro ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Arye Suryoye's corner Norberto Loureiro fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Mickael Wuyts quite easily take care of the ball. Bahía é Carnaval's Mickael Wuyts played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ola Rydberg in the 88th minute of play. Mickael Wuyts showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ola Rydberg in the 90th minute of the match. Arye Suryoye made a substitution. Valdemar Beckeman replaced Ola Rydberg. 94 minutes had been played when some careless play by Bahía é Carnaval's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Norberto Loureiro was slow to take the kick. During this time Arye Suryoye's players had a chance to rest. A collision led to Bahía é Carnaval getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Astor Brais hit a great ball. Valdemar Beckeman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
