The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 10 minutes, Erasmo Veiga put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of William Weggers. Rudy Keuppens hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. In the 16th minute, Nicolas Teixeira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The DOROSTOL Ss fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. 18 minutes into the match, Royal Antwerp FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nicolas Teixeira came free, but William Weggers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 27 minutes, the score became 0-5 when Nicolas Teixeira sped through Royal Antwerp FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of William Weggers. William Weggers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erasmo Veiga in the 31st minute of play. In the 32nd match minute, Royal Antwerp FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jamie Van Latem to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 34 minutes, Toshko Strezov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. DOROSTOL Ss's supporters crossed their fingers, but Toshko Strezov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Royal Antwerp FC defense, Erasmo Veiga kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of William Weggers. The Royal Antwerp FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that William Weggers should have stopped the shot. Royal Antwerp FC's William Weggers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erasmo Veiga in the 38th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nicolas Teixeira in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg William Weggers saved Royal Antwerp FC from getting behind. William Weggers didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Erasmo Veiga went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-7 was the resulting score. After 45 minutes, Alexandre Van Kamp mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Royal Antwerp FC and the DOROSTOL Ss players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of DOROSTOL Ss booed when Royal Antwerp FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexandre Van Kamp didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 48th minute, Nicolas Teixeira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The DOROSTOL Ss fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-8. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-8 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Erasmo Veiga made a kick off. After 54 minutes Royal Antwerp FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joaquin Oriol who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on DOROSTOL Ss's corner Joaquin Oriol fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and William Weggers quite easily take care of the ball. Jamie Van Latem hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. In the 57th minute of the match, Erasmo Veiga got a very nice opportunity to score, but William Weggers was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. With his leg William Weggers managed to avoid a goal in the 58thth minute, when DOROSTOL Ss's Erasmo Veiga fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 61st minute, Erasmo Veiga left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The DOROSTOL Ss fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-9. Erasmo Veiga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexandre Van Kamp in the 71st minute of play forced DOROSTOL Ss's goalkeeper Leopoldo Rivero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. William Weggers didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Erasmo Veiga went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-11 was the resulting score. William Weggers stood somewhat misplaced when Nicolas Teixeira came free in front of goal and shot 0-12 to the left of him in the 79 minute. 82 minutes into the match, Royal Antwerp FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nicolas Teixeira came free, but William Weggers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The DOROSTOL Ss fans' excitement grew in the 83rd match minute when DOROSTOL Ss's Nicolas Teixeira looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-13 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 0-14 became the score in the 91st minute when Nicolas Teixeira elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. William Weggers made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Erasmo Veiga sent off a good shot on target. After 98 played minutes Royal Antwerp FC got a freekick which was hit by Antoine Hofnagels. DOROSTOL Ss's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
