With an all-out effort, 79CityMile's Vítor Baia threw himself towards the right post 33 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from 洪剑景, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 34th minute, Guido Vissenaeken made a precise shot to the right of 邱钢益. 79CityMile's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Vítor Baia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 洪剑景, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling 洪剑景 in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vítor Baia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 39th minute, Jaspar Van Den Broeck got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 邱钢益 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnauld Van Impe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 邱钢益 came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Brugge United's Guido Vissenaeken. But to his dismay, Guido Vissenaeken quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Brugge United's Waud Huijbrechts was substituted for Jaspar Van Den Broeck. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when 洪剑景 stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Vítor Baia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 姚西政, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 邱钢益 was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ümit Karan showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-5 in the 56 minute of play. Godofredo Hodei sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 邱钢益 came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Brugge United's Ümit Karan. But to his dismay, Ümit Karan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. The supporters of 79CityMile booed when Brugge United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dacian Hrean didn't get a good kick on the ball. Waud Huijbrechts could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but 邱钢益 made a huge save. 79CityMile's 邱钢益 proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save 79CityMile from getting a goal against them. Laurențiu Roşculeţ sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 邱钢益 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Waud Huijbrechts in the 78th minute of the match. 79 minutes into the match, 79CityMile's goal looked a bit too open when Arnauld Van Impe came free, but 邱钢益 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 邱钢益 made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Ümit Karan sent off a good shot on target. After 92 minutes of play, Brugge United's Goffrey Sas made it 0-9 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. 邱钢益 was left in no man's land by his defense there! 邱钢益 was out of position in the 94 minute of play, and Laurențiu Roşculeţ capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Laurențiu Roşculeţ really showed his touch with that goal: 0-10. Brugge United's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
