A beautiful save bye Sumaré Sport Club's goalie prevented a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Prudencio Isias in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Richard Fontes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The The Waldos fans' excitement grew in the 14th match minute when The Waldos's Prudencio Isias looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Richard Fontes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marin Ştefănescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. After 22 minutes, Prudencio Isias made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Sumaré Sport Club's Richard Fontes tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Sebastian Brun could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but David Dewulf made a huge save. Richard Fontes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alvaro Pagomari, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zé Trigo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Dewulf having to interfere. After 31 minutes of play, Sumaré Sport Club's Alfred Chmelyk made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. David Dewulf was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 39th minute Prudencio Isias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Richard Fontes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Richard Fontes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Prudencio Isias's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. David Dewulf made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sebastian Brun in the 43rd minute. Richard Fontes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Prudencio Isias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. David Dewulf was a little too slow when Sebastian Brun got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 46th minute. The score was now 2-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alfred Chmelyk stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Prudencio Isias lined in a short shot 2-3 behind a frustrated Richard Fontes. In the 57th match minute, The Waldos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agustin Distiratsu to maneuver through the defense. Janusz Tyszka, 58 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfred Chmelyk in the 59th minute of play forced The Waldos's goalkeeper David Dewulf to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 61st minute of the match Sumaré Sport Club got a corner. The Waldos's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Janusz Tyszka ran over to the corner to take the kick. Prudencio Isiass short, quick shot in the 64thth minute got Richard Fontes to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 65 minutes into the match, The Waldos's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Brun came free, but David Dewulf reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marin Ştefănescu got free with Richard Fontes in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Waldos's Prudencio Isias got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sebastian Brun's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but David Dewulf read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. In the 73rd minute Sebastian Brun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Dewulf saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 74th minute Zé Trigo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Dewulf saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 91st minute Alfred Chmelyk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Dewulf saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 92nd minute, Leandro Millrick hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leandro Millrick took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Richard Fontes. Richard Fontes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-5. The Sumaré Sport Club supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching The Waldos's performance. The match ended with a win for The Waldos.
