Peter Santos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Igor Akinfeev read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. Igor Akinfeev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peter Santos in the 12th minute of the match. 15 minutes into the game, Peter Santos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Igor Akinfeev was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Voskresensk FC's goalkeeper Igor Akinfeev, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 24 played minutes Peter Santos rounded Voskresensk FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-0. 29 minutes into the match, Voskresensk FC's Evgeniy Fomichev sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Márcio de Brito narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Peter Santos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Samurai Champions FC getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Șerban Bărbânță hit a great ball. Samurai Champions FC's Márcio de Brito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evgeniy Fomichev in the 45th minute of play. After 47 played minutes Voskresensk FC got a freekick which was hit by Vladimir Safarov. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Peter Santos to strike the kick off in the second half. Samurai Champions FC's Peter Santos got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Igor Akinfeev stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Peter Santos's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. Márcio de Brito stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Evgeniy Fomichev's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Evgeniy Fomichev in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Márcio de Brito saved Samurai Champions FC from getting behind. Igor Akinfeev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Peter Santos, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Danila Kolobov during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Samurai Champions FC's Cido Recife was substituted for Peter Santos. A collision led to Voskresensk FC getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Danila Kolobov hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cido Recife in the 61st minute of play forced Voskresensk FC's goalkeeper Igor Akinfeev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Voskresensk FC's Igor Akinfeev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cido Recife in the 62nd minute of play. Voskresensk FC's Konstantin Lakhov was substituted for Vadim Basmannikov. 72 minutes into the match, Cido Recife had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Igor Akinfeev. Voskresensk FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cido Recife was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. 76 minutes into the game, Samurai Champions FC's Cido Recife nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Igor Akinfeev made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. Igor Akinfeev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfredo Di Cintio, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. 78 minutes into the match, Alfredo Di Cintio notched a goal, 9-0, to the right of Voskresensk FC's Igor Akinfeev. Igor Akinfeev was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 83rd minute, Alfredo Di Cintio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Igor Akinfeev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cido Recife, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Samurai Champions FC's Márcio de Brito proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Samurai Champions FC from getting a goal against them. When Ruslan Krylov fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Voskresensk FC's protests and gave Ruslan Krylov a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Voskresensk FC getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Ruslan Krylov hit a great ball. In the 91st minute, Voskresensk FC's Evgeniy Fomichev dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 9-1. Cido Recife's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Igor Akinfeev read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. In the 97th minute Alfredo Di Cintio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Igor Akinfeev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Voskresensk FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
