Marcelo Mangueira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lionel Messi, who was totally free with the ball in the 2nd minute. Lautaro Martinez took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcelo Mangueira. Marcelo Mangueira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. 10 minutes into the match, La Scaloneta's Lionel Messi broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Marcelo Mangueira was a little too slow when Lautaro Martinez got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 11th minute. The score was now 3-0. Lionel Messi took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcelo Mangueira. Marcelo Mangueira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Marcelo Mangueira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lion Messi in the 25th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, La Scaloneta's Lion Messi got a free kick in the 26th minute. 29 minutes into the game, one of La Scaloneta:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lion Messi in the 35th minute of play forced Brazil Academy's goalkeeper Marcelo Mangueira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 42nd minute, Lionel Messi reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Marcelo Mangueira. The goal made the score 7-0. After 46 minutes of play, La Scaloneta's Lautaro Martinez made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcelo Mangueira was left in no man's land by his defense there! All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lion Messi to make the kick off. Lionel Messi took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcelo Mangueira. Marcelo Mangueira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 9-0. In the 55th minute of the match La Scaloneta got a corner. Brazil Academy's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Lionel Messi ran over to the corner to take the kick. Marcelo Mangueira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lionel Messi went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 10-0 was the resulting score. In the 63rd minute, Lionel Messi made a precise shot to the right of Marcelo Mangueira. Brazil Academy's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 11-0. The audience was convinced that Lionel Messi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcelo Mangueira was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. Marcelo Mangueira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lautaro Martinez in the 67th minute of play. In the 69th minute, Lionel Messi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The La Scaloneta fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 12-0. After 73 minutes of play, La Scaloneta's Julián Álvarez made it 13-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcelo Mangueira was left in no man's land by his defense there! Marcelo Mangueira came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by La Scaloneta's Lionel Messi. But to his dismay, Lionel Messi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 14-0. Marcelo Mangueira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julián Álvarez in the 79th minute of the match. Marcelo Mangueira came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by La Scaloneta's Lautaro Martinez. But to his dismay, Lautaro Martinez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 15-0. Marcelo Mangueira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lionel Messi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcelo Mangueira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julián Álvarez, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. 87 minutes into the match, Lionel Messi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcelo Mangueira. Brazil Academy's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lionel Messi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 16-0. Marcelo Mangueira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lionel Messi in the 90th minute of play. Célio Dante was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 92 minutes into the match. Lautaro Martinez scored 17-0 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcelo Mangueira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
