Ianis Man sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 6thth minute of the game Shi Li who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ciruel Academy's Jacob Alavedra was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Onurhan Çinuçin in the 7th minute of play forced Ciruel Academy's goalkeeper Jacob Alavedra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 21st minute, Lucas Pilblad hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 30 minutes into the match, Galati Harbour Cats's goalkeeper Octavian Soare had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nicolás Elenes. Crispin Klander hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Dan Petrescu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 32nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jacob Alavedra. Ciruel Academy's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 32nd minute, Alberigo Sessa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Crispin Klander shot from long distance in the 33rd minute, but Octavian Soare was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. In the 37th minute, Shi Li ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jacob Alavedra was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. When Shi Li came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Galati Harbour Cats fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Shi Li couldn't finish the play. 46 minutes into the match, Ciruel Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Ianis Man came free, but Jacob Alavedra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 48th minute Onurhan Çinuçin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacob Alavedra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After 51 played minutes Ciruel Academy got a freekick which was hit by Zuberbuhler Gordo. Ianis Man took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jacob Alavedra. Jacob Alavedra dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 57 minutes into the match, Ianis Man dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jacob Alavedra, 0-3. In the 64thth minute of the game Lucas Grijander who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Galati Harbour Cats's Octavian Soare was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 73 minutes into the match, Ciruel Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Ianis Man came free, but Jacob Alavedra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Ciruel Academy's Lucas Grijander in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Galati Harbour Cats's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Ciruel Academy's zone, Ianis Man stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacob Alavedra came out of the goal and Ianis Man tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jacob Alavedra made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Shi Li sent off a good shot on target. After 85th play minutes Lucas Grijander shot 1-4, a short shot which went by Octavian Soare and just under the crossbar into goal.
