GFG VOEL's Sonni Fjøle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudinho Fernandes in the 6th minute of play. Sonni Fjøle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudinho Fernandes in the 6th minute of the match. Rupert Vadgaard's late challenge caught a Ibirama Futebol Clube's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rupert Vadgaard helped the player get up and apologised. After 7 played minutes GFG VOEL got a freekick which was hit by Rupert Vadgaard. In the 8th minute Sérgio Braga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sonni Fjøle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Víktor Freire showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benny Snel, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benny Snel in the 10th minute of play forced Ibirama Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Víktor Freire to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Víktor Freire stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Benny Snel's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcinho Barros in the 24th minute of play forced GFG VOEL's goalkeeper Sonni Fjøle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ibirama Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Víktor Freire, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rupert Vadgaard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Víktor Freire having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Benny Snel kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Víktor Freire. That made the score 2-0 in the 37 minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Benny Snel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Ibirama Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Dênis Coutinho hit a great ball. The supporters of GFG VOEL booed when Ibirama Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Davi Hoffmann didn't get a good kick on the ball. GFG VOEL's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benny Snel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ibirama Futebol Clube's Víktor Freire played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ali Perker in the 76th minute of play. Benny Snel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Víktor Freire read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benny Snel in the 82nd minute of play forced Ibirama Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Víktor Freire to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Ibirama Futebol Clube's Dênis Coutinho got a free kick in the 91st minute. In the 92ndth minute of the game Benny Snel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ibirama Futebol Clube's Víktor Freire was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Benny Snel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The GFG VOEL fans cheered their team off the field, for while Ibirama Futebol Clube had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
