Benny Snel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Martyn Patten read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. When Dennis Chegwyn fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Manchester United F.C.'s protests and gave Dennis Chegwyn a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of GFG VOEL booed when Manchester United F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dennis Chegwyn didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 11th minute, Dennis Chegwyn hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Martyn Patten showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benny Snel in the 12th minute of the match. After taking down the ball on GFG VOEL's corner Rupert Vadgaard fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Martyn Patten quite easily take care of the ball. Martyn Patten took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rupert Vadgaard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 40th minute, Benny Snel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Martyn Patten was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. When Benny Snel came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the GFG VOEL fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benny Snel couldn't finish the play. In the 45th minute Benny Snel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martyn Patten saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 46 minutes into the match, Benny Snel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Martyn Patten. Manchester United F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Benny Snel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. After the first half GFG VOEL were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Benny Snel was the one to do the kick off. Martyn Patten showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benny Snel, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Danny Ross's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sonni Fjøle read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. In the 59th minute, Benny Snel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Martyn Patten was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Benny Snel struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Martyn Patten didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for GFG VOEL. Martyn Patten came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by GFG VOEL's Benny Snel. But to his dismay, Benny Snel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. GFG VOEL's Ali Perker was substituted for Rupert Vadgaard. With a little luck, Manchester United F.C.'s Martyn Patten got control of the ball when Benny Snel tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Manchester United F.C.'s goalkeeper Martyn Patten, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Benny Snel kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Martyn Patten. That made the score 0-8 in the 81 minute of play. GFG VOEL's Timo Lanng was substituted for Guillelme Casuso. Manchester United F.C.'s Martyn Patten proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Manchester United F.C. from getting a goal against them. In the 88th minute, Benny Snel reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Martyn Patten. The goal made the score 0-9. GFG VOEL's Ali Perker got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. GFG VOEL's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
