Spectators: 171 (Terracing: 129, Seating: 39, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rafael Cutberto started the match with the kick off. 4 minutes into the match, AVV Zeeburgia's goalkeeper Aílton Fernandez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Octavian Popescu. In the 5th match minute, AVV Zeeburgia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dries Bogaard to maneuver through the defense. AVV Zeeburgia's Aílton Fernandez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael Cutberto in the 10th minute of play. In the 11th minute, Phaiakes Paraskevopoulos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. FC NATIONAL's Bogdan Lobonț played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Servet Akburç in the 14th minute of play. Bogdan Lobonț stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Xiao Chang Chao's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Xiao Chang Chao in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bogdan Lobonț saved FC NATIONAL from getting behind. 21 minutes into the game, Phaiakes Paraskevopoulos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Aílton Fernandez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 23rd minute, Marios Kotsilimbas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aílton Fernandez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafael Cutberto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 31st minute Rafael Cutberto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aílton Fernandez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 34th minute of the match FC NATIONAL got a corner. AVV Zeeburgia's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mukul Muka ran over to the corner to take the kick. FC NATIONAL's Bogdan Lobonț played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xiao Chang Chao in the 36th minute of play. Bogdan Lobonț took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Servet Akburç, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bogdan Lobonț stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aurel Gârleanu's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. After 41 played minutes FC NATIONAL got a freekick which was hit by Ademtos Demetrious. 42 minutes into the match, FC NATIONAL's goal looked a bit too open when Servet Akburç came free, but Bogdan Lobonț reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Phaiakes Paraskevopoulos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Aílton Fernandez made a huge save. 44 minutes into the match, AVV Zeeburgia's goal looked a bit too open when Rafael Cutberto came free, but Aílton Fernandez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC NATIONAL's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mukul Muka in the 46th minute. A well-hit corner resulted in Marios Kotsilimbas heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

In the 54th minute, Octavian Popescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FC NATIONAL's Bogdan Lobonț played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xiao Chang Chao in the 55th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Xiao Chang Chao in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bogdan Lobonț prevented the ball from getting in the gole. AVV Zeeburgia's Aílton Fernandez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael Cutberto in the 64th minute of play. Mukul Muka charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mukul Muka the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 65th minute, Mukul Muka hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, FC NATIONAL's Akestes Bentihavas got a free kick in the 66th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xiao Chang Chao in the 68th minute of play forced FC NATIONAL's goalkeeper Bogdan Lobonț to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Octavian Popescu in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aílton Fernandez saved AVV Zeeburgia from getting behind. Bogdan Lobonț was a little too slow when Aurel Gârleanu got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 71st minute. The score was now 1-1. After 73 played minutes AVV Zeeburgia got a freekick which was hit by Xiao Chang Chao. Bogdan Lobonț showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xiao Chang Chao in the 76th minute of the match. Xiao Chang Chao fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bogdan Lobonț having to interfere. 80 minutes into the match, AVV Zeeburgia's goal looked a bit too open when Phaiakes Paraskevopoulos came free, but Aílton Fernandez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to FC NATIONAL getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Marius Nicolae hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Servet Akburç got free with Bogdan Lobonț in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 88th minute of the match AVV Zeeburgia got a corner. FC NATIONAL's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Stephan Stout ran over to the corner to take the kick. Aurel Gârleanu made a great header on AVV Zeeburgia's corner, it was just that FC NATIONAL's Bogdan Lobonț managed to reach the ball for a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Octavian Popescu in the 91st minute of play forced AVV Zeeburgia's goalkeeper Aílton Fernandez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
