After taking down the ball on De Kasteelheren's corner Hayden Hoebe fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Guga de Azevedo quite easily take care of the ball. Nicolas Nóbrega received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Bram Reinhard came out and tried to block the shot, but Nicolas Nóbrega slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 13th minute. Guga de Azevedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Inácio Amaral in the 20th minute of the match. In the 24th match minute, Xandeco FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Samuel Gonçalves to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Xandeco FC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Edmund Balkiewicz hit a great ball. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 33rd minute of the game. One of Xandeco FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of De Kasteelheren:s goal. Hayden Hoebe shot the penalty kick right outside the post. In a very dangerous position, a player in Xandeco FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 35th minute. Penalty! Bram Reinhard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmund Balkiewicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. A collision led to Xandeco FC getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Tales Donato hit a great ball. 40 minutes into the match, Inácio Amaral notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Xandeco FC's Guga de Azevedo. Guga de Azevedo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 43rd minute Harold Rodenboog shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guga de Azevedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Inácio Amaral in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Guga de Azevedo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. De Kasteelheren's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Hayden Hoebe in the 46th minute. The corner led to De Kasteelheren's Harold Rodenboog getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

51 minutes into the game, Harold Rodenboog cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Guga de Azevedo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Inácio Amaral got free with Guga de Azevedo in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Guga de Azevedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Harold Rodenboog, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Guga de Azevedo made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Inácio Amaral sent off a good shot on target. 65 minutes into the match, Inácio Amaral dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Guga de Azevedo, 1-3. Inácio Amaral could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Guga de Azevedo made a huge save. 74 minutes into the match, Xandeco FC's goalkeeper Guga de Azevedo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Inácio Amaral. Anatoliy Gvozdevych fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guga de Azevedo having to interfere. Bram Reinhard took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dino Amorim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A hard shot 80 in the game by Inácio Amaral from a close distance when the talented Guga de Azevedo managed to make a qualified save. Xandeco FC's players were relieved. Harold Rodenboog sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Xandeco FC made a substitution. Geraldo Palmeira replaced Antônio Martins. After 84 minutes, Lino Vander mouthed his way into the referee's book.
