Refik Halit Sezginay didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Locura Académica's zone, Teo Elivareo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Davide Franco came out of the goal and Teo Elivareo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Locura Académica's Davide Franco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mario Rodriguez in the 6th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mario Rodriguez in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Davide Franco saved Locura Académica from getting behind. In the 11th minute, Eduardo Pirro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 13 minutes into the match, Locura Académica's Urbano Ortega sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Montrell Harrell narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 15 minutes into the match, Mario Rodriguez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Davide Franco. Locura Académica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mario Rodriguez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Davide Franco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mario Rodriguez in the 18th minute of play. In the 21st minute, 宋皓沙 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Davide Franco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorge Hagi, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. After 25 minutes of play, Sportivo Ben Hur's Mario Rodriguez made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Davide Franco was left in no man's land by his defense there! Sportivo Ben Hur were awarded a corner in the 29th minute after Locura Académica's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Eduardo Pirro took the corner. Sportivo Ben Hur's Eduardo Pirro was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Davide Franco in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Teo Elivareo scored 0-3 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Davide Franco, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Davide Franco stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Teo Elivareo's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. Jedrzej Chrzan struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Davide Franco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sportivo Ben Hur. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Sportivo Ben Hur's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Eduardo Pirro in the 53rd minute. A nice corner shot did that Mario Rodriguez got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Davide Franco quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 56 minutes, Guillermo Joey mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Locura Académica and the Sportivo Ben Hur players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Locura Académica's Guillermo Joey got a free kick in the 56th minute. Teo Elivareo struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Davide Franco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sportivo Ben Hur. After some careless play in the Locura Académica defense, Jorge Hagi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Davide Franco. The Locura Académica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Davide Franco should have stopped the shot. Sportivo Ben Hur's Arturo Baladi was substituted for Teo Elivareo. Arturo Baladi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Davide Franco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 74 minutes, Mario Rodriguez took a quick shot and it went in 0-6 without a chance for Davide Franco to make any attempt to save it. In the 77th minute, Jorge Hagi reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Davide Franco. The goal made the score 0-7. Davide Franco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mario Rodriguez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Davide Franco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorge Hagi, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. In the 88th minute Jorge Hagi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Davide Franco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Davide Franco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorge Hagi in the 90th minute of play. Jedrzej Chrzan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Davide Franco having to interfere. 94 minutes into the game, Arturo Baladi recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Davide Franco. Arturo Baladi showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-8. Sportivo Ben Hur's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
