Juan Estevez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 8 minutes of play, Maravilla's Cruz Credo made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Juan Estevez was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 12thth minute of the game Cruz Credo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Academia 1903's Juan Estevez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cruz Credo succeeded in the game's 13th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-0. Juan Estevez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cruz Credo's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. If Cruz Credo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cruz Credo in the 19th minute of play forced Academia 1903's goalkeeper Juan Estevez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 22 minutes of play, Maravilla's Cruz Credo made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Juan Estevez was left in no man's land by his defense there! 25 minutes into the match, Cruz Credo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Juan Estevez. Academia 1903's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cruz Credo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. In the 29th minute, Epifanio Hermelando hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Godofredo Marin scored 8-0 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Juan Estevez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Cruz Credo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Paulus Van Poucke struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Juan Estevez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Maravilla. If Cruz Credo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 46th minute, Cruz Credo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Maravilla fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 9-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 9-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cruz Credo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Juan Estevez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cruz Credo in the 53rd minute of play. The supporters of Maravilla booed when Academia 1903 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Epifanio Hermelando didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Academia 1903 getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Fidel Tadzio hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cruz Credo in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Juan Estevez saved Academia 1903 from getting behind. After 63 minutes, Siro Orlanda mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Academia 1903 and the Maravilla players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 63rd match minute, Academia 1903 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Siro Orlanda to maneuver through the defense. 65 minutes into the match, Cruz Credo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Juan Estevez. Academia 1903's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cruz Credo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 10-0. Juan Estevez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reiner Sørrig, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cruz Credo in the 73rd minute of play forced Academia 1903's goalkeeper Juan Estevez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Academia 1903 defense, Cruz Credo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Juan Estevez. The Academia 1903 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Juan Estevez should have stopped the shot. In the 83rd match minute, Academia 1903 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Placido Garin to maneuver through the defense. Elias Figueroa charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Elias Figueroa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 86th match minute, Maravilla was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elias Figueroa to maneuver through the defense. Juan Estevez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cruz Credo, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cruz Credo in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Juan Estevez saved Academia 1903 from getting behind. Maravilla's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
