Nichifor Măgurean tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Tom Sjöman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nichifor Măgurean was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. 11 minutes into the game, Tom Sjöman lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Nichifor Măgurean. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edgar Iovanovici in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Casper Lundin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 24 minutes MDV Mount Eaver's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Sorin Chitimia who took care of the corner kick. Sorin Chitimia made a great header on FC Inter Craiova's corner, it was just that MDV Mount Eaver's Casper Lundin managed to reach the ball for a save. With a little luck, FC Inter Craiova's Nichifor Măgurean got control of the ball when Ivar Sundin tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 29th match minute, MDV Mount Eaver was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edvin Stålberg to maneuver through the defense. MDV Mount Eaver's Casper Lundin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgar Iovanovici in the 39th minute of play. Casper Lundin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rahim Cingöz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Casper Lundin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 林晨川 in the 42nd minute of play. MDV Mount Eaver were furious when Ernst Hägg was red carded, 45 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 45 minutes into the game, one of MDV Mount Eaver:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edgar Iovanovici made a kick off. Ivar Sundin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Casper Lundin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Barnaba Barniszke in the 57th minute. In the 59th match minute, FC Inter Craiova was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 林晨川 to maneuver through the defense. In the 60th minute of the match Sven-Olof Tinglöv sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nichifor Măgurean skillfully saved the ball.
