Laxå IF's Yaşar Şerif played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leo Ochoa in the 21st minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, Leo Ochoa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Yaşar Şerif. Laxå IF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leo Ochoa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Trinidad 4.7's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leo Ochoa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Laxå IF's goalkeeper Yaşar Şerif, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 27 minutes into the match, Omar Txaran had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Yaşar Şerif. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.
