Javier Della Francesca who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 5thth minute tested the skills of Javier García when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 9 minutes of play, AC Roma's Alvaro Sforza made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Javier García was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ernesto Errolan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Javier García having to make a save. In the 15th minute, Alvaro Sforza made a precise shot to the right of Javier García. O.T.E's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Alvaro Sforza struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Javier García didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AC Roma. Alvaro Sforza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 28 played minutes O.T.E got a freekick which was hit by Sandro Fonseca. Armin Ascenzi's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Javier García firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 32nd minute, Sandro Fonseca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 33rdth minute of the game Alvaro Sforza who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but O.T.E's Javier García was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Javier García made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alvaro Sforza in the 37th minute of play. If Alvaro Sforza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. O.T.E's Javier García proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save O.T.E from getting a goal against them. In the 44th minute, O.T.E's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Fatbardh Malko fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 44th minute Alvaro Sforza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Javier García saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Alvaro Sforza came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the AC Roma fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alvaro Sforza couldn't finish the play. O.T.E's Arboleda Soberano was substituted for Thomas Tsatsaronakis. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

O.T.E's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Lakis Kazantzakis in the 55th minute. In the 58thth minute of the game Alvaro Sforza who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but O.T.E's Javier García was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alvaro Sforza in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Javier García saved O.T.E from getting behind. When Sandro Fonseca fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored O.T.E's protests and gave Sandro Fonseca a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, O.T.E's Sandro Fonseca got a free kick in the 64th minute. Alvaro Sforza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 66 minutes into the match, O.T.E's goal looked a bit too open when Alvaro Sforza came free, but Javier García reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alvaro Sforza might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Javier García. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alvaro Sforza ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 68th minute Alvaro Sforza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Javier García saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Javier García showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alvaro Sforza, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. 88 minutes into the match, O.T.E's goal looked a bit too open when Alvaro Sforza came free, but Javier García reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, AC Roma's Angelo Donati got a free kick in the 91st minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the O.T.E players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for AC Roma.
