Hernan Goren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olgierd Dawiec, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. BERMEJO's Hernan Goren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olgierd Dawiec in the 8th minute of play. 10 minutes into the match, BERMEJO's goal looked a bit too open when Alex Testaferrata Viani came free, but Hernan Goren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Olgierd Dawiec struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Hernan Goren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Floriana Celtics. Hernan Goren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olgierd Dawiec, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Hernan Goren came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Floriana Celtics's Olgierd Dawiec. But to his dismay, Olgierd Dawiec quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Hernan Goren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kyle Thake, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 18th minute, one of BERMEJO:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for BERMEJO. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kyle Thake in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hernan Goren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 25thth minute of the game Olgierd Dawiec who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but BERMEJO's Hernan Goren was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Hernan Goren stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kyle Thake's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. If Olgierd Dawiec had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 29 minutes into the match, BERMEJO's goal looked a bit too open when Olgierd Dawiec came free, but Hernan Goren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hernan Goren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olgierd Dawiec, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 33rd minute, Godwin Montesin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hernan Goren was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Hernan Goren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olgierd Dawiec in the 38th minute of play. If Olgierd Dawiec had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 51st minute, Alejandro Elorri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Olgierd Dawiec sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hernan Goren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olgierd Dawiec, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Floriana Celtics were awarded a corner in the 57th minute after BERMEJO's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Matt Sciortino took the corner. The corner led Floriana Celtics's Matt Sciortino to fire away a dangerous shot which Hernan Goren despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When the match clock showed 60 minutes, the score became 0-5 when Olgierd Dawiec sped through BERMEJO's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Hernan Goren. In the 63rd minute, Giorgio Caruana made a precise shot to the right of Hernan Goren. BERMEJO's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kyle Thake in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hernan Goren saved BERMEJO from getting behind. Floriana Celtics's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Matt Sciortino in the 75th minute. Alex Testaferrata Viani was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Robby Baggio made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 81stth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Hernan Goren would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. In the 81st minute, Jacobo Oalo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With an all-out effort, Floriana Celtics's Hernan Goren threw himself towards the right post 83 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Kyle Thake, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. BERMEJO's Hernan Goren proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save BERMEJO from getting a goal against them. In the 88thth minute of the game Kyle Thake who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but BERMEJO's Hernan Goren was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Floriana Celtics's Kyle Thake got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Robby Baggio came free with the goalkeeper in the 94th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Hernan Goren could save by the left post. 95 minutes into the match, BERMEJO's goal looked a bit too open when Kyle Thake came free, but Hernan Goren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kyle Thake in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hernan Goren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Floriana Celtics's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
