The throw-in from Clemente Teodor in the 7th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's Ildefonso Foro. Mauro Joachim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Todd Gronow in the 9th minute of play. If Todd Gronow had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 13thth minute of the game Todd Gronow who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AFC CERBEROS's Mauro Joachim was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Anacleto Sanchez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Todd Gronow could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Mauro Joachim made a huge save. 34 minutes into the match, Todd Gronow dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Mauro Joachim, 2-0. With a little luck, AFC CERBEROS's Mauro Joachim got control of the ball when Todd Gronow tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 41 minutes, Todd Gronow made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. AFC CERBEROS's Mauro Joachim tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Carmelo Saturnin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abelardo Janpier having to interfere. The supporters of AFC CERBEROS booed when Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Inaki Mirabal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's Fabio Manuelo was substituted for Gerardo Etxepare. After a rather tough play, Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's Inaki Mirabal got a free kick in the 67th minute. In the 69th minute, Todd Gronow left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Lisandro Suarez charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lisandro Suarez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC booed when AFC CERBEROS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lisandro Suarez didn't get a good kick on the ball. 75 minutes into the match, Todd Gronow had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mauro Joachim. AFC CERBEROS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Todd Gronow was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Mauro Joachim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Todd Gronow, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Felix Azibar scored 5-1 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Abelardo Janpier, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariusz Ratulowski in the 95th minute of play forced AFC CERBEROS's goalkeeper Mauro Joachim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC had played much better football throughout.
