Franco Di Massa was left in no man's land by his defense there! 6 minutes into the match, FC Gdansk36's goal looked a bit too open when Thor Ståhlberg came free, but Adam Matysek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ziemowit Fafinski hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven Granberg in the 15th minute of play forced FC Gdansk36's goalkeeper Adam Matysek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thor Ståhlberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Adam Matysek made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Daniel Koch sent off a good shot on target. Bergandy were awarded a corner in the 24th minute after FC Gdansk36's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Sven Granberg took the corner. In the 26th match minute, Bergandy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sven Granberg to maneuver through the defense. Daniel Koch who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 29thth minute tested the skills of Adam Matysek when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Franco Di Massa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan Olisadebe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, FC Gdansk36's Adam Matysek got control of the ball when Daniel Koch tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bergandy's Franco Di Massa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Piotr Kozlowski in the 34th minute of play. Franco Di Massa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Piotr Kozlowski's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. Piotr Kozlowski struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Franco Di Massa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Gdansk36. When Witomir Perkowski got the opportunity to take care of a free kick it resulted in a really dangerous shot that almost went in the goal. Instead the ball went too high, a missed opportunity for FC Gdansk36. Franco Di Massa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan Olisadebe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Thor Ståhlberg to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute Thor Ståhlberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adam Matysek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Bergandy's Per-Olof Forsberg got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Witomir Zworski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Franco Di Massa made a huge save. Thor Ståhlberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of FC Gdansk36 booed when Bergandy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thor Ståhlberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Piotr Kozlowski got free with Franco Di Massa in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bergandy made a substitution. Markus Kjellqvist replaced Per-Olof Forsberg. In the 78th minute of the match Bergandy got a corner. FC Gdansk36's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Sven Granberg ran over to the corner to take the kick. Sven Granberg made a great header on Bergandy's corner, it was just that FC Gdansk36's Adam Matysek managed to reach the ball for a save. If Thor Ståhlberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jan Olisadebe who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 82ndth minute tested the skills of Franco Di Massa when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Jan Olisadebe in the 82ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Franco Di Massa, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Adam Matysek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thor Ståhlberg in the 84th minute of play. Franco Di Massa had great luck who in the 94thth minute grab hold of the ball when Iggi Kot from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
