Papo Folgueras showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bruno Salles, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Sagarana Clube's Benedito Trigo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dean Butterfield in the 45th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dean Butterfield to make the kick off. Chesney Holstead hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Éder Madureira in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Papo Folgueras prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Benedito Trigo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jude Rain in the 72nd minute of play. After 74 played minutes Bristol Totterdown AFC got a freekick which was hit by Jude Rain. Sagarana Clube's Fabrício de Alcântara was substituted for Zé Roberto da Costa. After a rather tough play, Bristol Totterdown AFC's Jude Rain got a free kick in the 75th minute. Sagarana Clube's Beto Heidemann got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dean Butterfield in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benedito Trigo saved Sagarana Clube from getting behind. Jude Rain kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Éder Madureira in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Papo Folgueras prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After recieving a nice pass, Sagarana Clube's Beto Heidemann tried to score from far away in the 88th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Papo Folgueras made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yu Yang Sang in the 91st minute of play. In the 94th minute Sagarana Clube were awarded a corner. Beto Heidemann went to the cornerflag to take it. The Bristol Totterdown AFC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
